DON DIABLO KICKS OFF WORLDWIDE ‘FOREVER’ TOUR IN NYC

This past Friday Don Diablo began his worldwide ‘Forever’ tour in New York City. The sold out event was held at Avant Gardner, a noteworthy electronic venue that brings the fans closer to its performers. It was a momentous show that felt more like a celebration of Don Diablo’s career and success. The visuals throughout the show captured Don Diablo’s journey from toddler to music phenom. The atmosphere of the night was electrified by the stunning visuals and fan interactions. Avant Gardner proved to be the perfect place to kick off the start of the Forever World tour.

The opening act was Big Pineapple, a producer under Don Diablo’s Hexagon label. Big Pineapple played powerful bass house and hard hitting deep techno that got the crowd warmed up. Don Diablo opened up by playing popular tracks ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ with Miley Cyrus and ‘Let Me Love You’. He played original tracks from his recent ‘FUTURE’ album throughout the night. His set remained diverse and refreshing, also transitioning to harder bass house tracks like ‘Fever’. He had two outfit changes throughout the night and capped off the show in a futuristic reflective grey jacket adorned with his hexagon logo on his chest. His attire completed the theme of the show and tour.

The production and visuals matched the airy, uplifting, and futuristic vibe his tracks are known for. The artist behind the visuals is Viktor Kilbo, who has created stunning visuals for big names like Alesso, DJ Snake, and Avicii. The visuals were eye grabbing and mystifying, taking the audience on a journey with abstract space inspired locations, underwater locations, and a bright neon forest. Additionally, the visuals tied in with the futuristic theme, stimulating the crowds’ eyes and ears.

The audience’s energy was unmatchable, and Don Diablo genuinely thanked the crowd several times. At the end of the show he came down to embrace his fans and cherish this special start to the tour. In addition to the ‘Forever’ tour, he just announced a Hexagon comic book at NYC Comic Con. Don Diablo is defining himself as an unstoppable artistic force.
