HULAWEEN DROPS DAILY LINEUP + SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN

As much as we rave over initial lineup announcements, our real guilty pleasure is when a festival drops their schedule. There’s nothing as exciting as organizing your music schedule for the weekend. Whether you stay true to your plans or not, it’s fun to picture how your weekend might unfold. Suwannee Hulaween has us thrilled for the end of October. With the daily lineup and schedule out now, we can finally start to mentally arrange our weekend.

For those who can make it to Live Oak early, the party is getting started on Thursday. If you’ve purchased a 4-day ticket, you’ve got a big first day at Suwannee! Tycho, Justin Jay, Peekaboo, Greensky Bluegrass and STS9 are all acts you won’t want to miss. Aside from The Meadow, the remainder of the stages will be open. The Magic City Hippies come on at 2:15, so you may want to arrive on the campgrounds early to allot your entire day to the festival. Oh, and we heard Whipped Cream puts on a killer show that you can’t miss.

Moving on to Friday, 3-day ticket holders will want to start paying attention. You’ll get two sets by The String Cheese Incident, totaling up to almost three hours of cheese for the night. We recommend keeping your eye out for The Funk Hunters, CloZee, Jai Wolf and Bassnectar who is scheduled to close out The Meadow. We also wouldn’t miss jamming out with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at The Patch.

On Saturday, The Meadow will accommodate three consecutive sets of The String Cheese Incident. Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals will close out the stage for the night, another performance to keep on your radar. You’ll definitely want to catch CharlesTheFirst and Manic Focus at The Amphitheatre. Manic Focus has promised to bring out the live band for this one. After the recent release of his groovy new album Lost in a Digital World, this artist is guaranteed to have the crowd wiggling.

Both playing at Spirit Lake, Vampa and Mija are two women in electronic music who never fail to leave crowds stunned. Lovers of bass will definitely be getting weird at Vampa’s set. She’s able to command our souls with the push of a button, literally. Mija will have you dancing on your feet with an energy you never knew you had.

If you love to dance, you’ll want to spend your entire Sunday at The Amphitheatre. With J. Worra, Walker & Royce and Tchami making appearances, it’ll be a house party from your wildest dreams. You’ll also get another set of The String Cheese Incident, as well as Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit for your country-rock fix. With Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s two sets closing out The Patch, you may have some conflicts. However, with lots of great options, you can’t go wrong!

Don’t miss out on the most magical weekend of the year! Suwannee Hulaween still has a limited amount of tickets for sale here.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
