Jai Wolf Brought Color To Orlando
Jai Wolf played at Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida this past Thursday and left the crowd pleasantly surprised at almost every musical turn. His unique drops, fun remixes and original content left fans craving more.
The New York-based electronic music producer, Sajeeb Saha, is nearing the end of his “Cure to Loneliness” tour that started in April, right after releasing his debut album, The Cure to Loneliness. His set was energetic and emotional. The crowd stayed swaying and dancing throughout the entire set, excited to hear what he would play next.
Listen to “This Song Reminds Me of You” from his new album here.
Jai Wolf’s transitions were beautiful and artfully crafted. He’d go from playing a song with a slower tempo, such as “It All Started With A Feeling,” or “Feels,” putting his fans quite literally in their feels. Then he’d switch to fast-paced, exciting songs such as his remix of “Stay High” by Hippie Sabotage and of “Say My Name” by Odesza.
His visuals were out of this world. They were cinematic and revolved around space or images of women and men either together or fighting, tying into the feeling of loneliness. He was silhouetted by their bright colors of blue, red, yellow and purple.
Towards the end of his show, he spoke to the crowd about how he loves Florida’s energy and about the last time he played in Florida at Okeechobee Music Festival in 2017.
Jai Wolf began his set with the starting tones of “Indian Summer” one of his most well-known songs. Poetically enough, he ended it with the entire song, which was complemented by an array of bright and colorful lasers, leaving the crowd feeling anything except alone.
