Exron Exclusive Guest Mix 004: AKKI
AKKI is an Australian DJ/producer who currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. When she’s not playing locally around New York City including venues like Mercury Lounge and Good Room Brooklyn, she’s hosting the mix series entitled ‘Midnight Snack’. The mix series promotes diversity within the music community specifically featuring female and non-binary artists. She performed two sets at Elements Lakewood this past summer in Pennsylvania. She also supported Autograf and OMNOM on their NY tour stops. Recently, AKKI released a remix of Autograf’s track ‘Test The Waters’ via AltVision. AKKI’s guest mix for Exron Music follows the release of her first original track, ‘she doesn’t know’ out via Waze & Odyssey. This track incorporates heavy-hitting east Asian drum beats and sharp vocals, a perfect club track. AKKI shows incredible potential and offers a refreshing acid tech-house sound.
