LISTEN TO EPTIC’S RELENTLESS NEW TRACK “POWER”

Following his debut on Monstercat, “Let it Go” with Dillon Francis, Eptic just dropped his brand new single, “Power”. Both part of his forthcoming Flesh & Blood EP, you can already imagine where this is going. The new track is mystifying and chaotic, often a signature of Eptic’s unique sound.

“Power” utilizes aggressive basslines for a violent and electric feel. A dynamic series of vocals and the distant sound of a siren signal the impending doom. With a harsh first drop, Eptic shows us why he’s one of the most unstoppable dubstep forces in the game. Each layer builds on top of the rest to create the ultimate bass infused dream, or in this case, we should say nightmare.

Eptic speaks on his thought process while developing the tune, “I’m not gonna lie, it took me a while to figure out this song. I wrote the drop pretty early on in progress, but I couldn’t get the mix or intro right. It was only after I was about to give up and really reflected on my own production skills that I tried a different approach and could make it work. I’m proud to say that after all this “Power” is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made – production and songwriting wise, and it really set the standard for all the other tracks on this EP.”

What makes Eptic’s production stand out among the rest is the fact that he designs all of his own artwork. All of his live show visuals and song animations are created himself. In fact, fans should look out for an animated music video to go along with “Power” as well. He even runs a vlog series on his YouTube channel to keep fans in the loop while he’s on tour. Most notably, he’s brought on Skrillex for a guest appearance.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
