WATCH ELOHIM’S BRAINDEAD MUSIC VIDEO

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three months since the release of Elohim’s Braindead EP. In light of Mental Health Awareness month, she pledged to donate all of the May proceeds to organizations in support of those suffering with mental health issues. Now, she continues the Braindead journey with a captivating music video for its title track.

The entire collection is dedicated to Elohim’s own struggle with mental health, something she’s been very open about as an artist. This brand new video dives into a visual artistic representation of those battles. It follows the release of official videos for EP singles “tv” and “Flagpole Sitta”, each portraying a different message revolving around mental health.

Elohim’s tendency to allow her mental health to drive her artistic vision has always been strong. She acts as a guiding light to fans who might relate to her past. Her courage speaks for those who feel voiceless. Elohim notes, “As an artist I’ve been really lucky to work with such brilliant visual creatives that enjoy bringing my wild brain to life. Going through life with an extra active brain can be exhausting resulting in feeling braindead. This video represents that active brain.”

In the midst of this string of music videos, Elohim is also working on an exclusive documentary series highlighting the ups and downs of her mental health journey. Her honesty and openness inspires fans to face and overcome their own demons. Not many artists have gone to the lengths she has to really connect with her listeners. At the end of the day, her music is all about those feelings and connections. Follow the series here.

When Elohim isn’t in the studio, she’s setting fire to stages across the world. She’s embarked on multiple headline tours as well as direct support tours for Alison Wonderland and The Glitch Mob. That’s on top of her recent festival performances, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Firefly, HARD Summer, and more. Look out for her upcoming performances at Red Rocks, Voodoo Music + Art Experience, and HARD Day of the Dead.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
