MOONRISE FESTIVAL 2019 BLASTS OFF TO SUCCESS

Moonrise Festival has just wrapped up an astronomical weekend in Baltimore filled with a variety of entertainment, delicious food and good times. The event was well equipped with a helpful staff that ensured the safety of all festival patrons. The “Star Team” was never far, hydrating the crowd to keep the party going.

The layout of the festival was most impressive, and created a comfortable experience for all patrons. Moonrise Festival was thoughtfully constructed with no sound overlap from the stages, easy access to bathrooms, large water stations and shady art installations to guarantee an enjoyable time for everyone.

The performances were out of this world with the integration of rap, hip-hop, and house artists including Desiigner, 21 Savage, AC Slater and Shiba San. Seven Lions was unable to perform due to travel issues, but fans were given the opportunity to experience a super special back to back with: Hekler x Calcium x Brondo x Mastadon.

Moonrise supported some major female power with a killer Vampa B2B Zia set and Whipped Cream slamming Stellar Stage using herself as her own visuals.

Another special shout out goes to 12th Planet and Maruda (formerly known as Mastadon) for some of the hardest performances in this year’s twice as large Solar Tent.

Thanks to the teams of Steez Promo and Club Glow, Moonrise also pulled off two killer after parties located at Soundstage Baltimore. On Saturday fans witnessed a rare Svdden Death B2B Subtronics B2B Level Up that made the ground shake with some nasty dubstep. Check it out below:

All in all, Moonrise Festival had much to offer with its range of music genres and huge headliners that attracted friends from all over the east coast. With plenty to do festival goers spent time enjoying their favorite tunes, seeing great views from the ferris wheel and munching down on an array of delicious food options. We can only expect Moonrise Festival to continue to evolve next year.

I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
