TROYBOI REMIXES PARTY FAVOR’S ‘WAIT A MINUTE’

Troyboi has recently put his own hypnotic twist on Party Favor’s ‘Wait a Minute’ featuring A$AP Ferg and Juicy J. With the original version having dropped back in April, this take of the track paves the way for an entire Layers Remixes LP. The wait won’t be much longer, though. The LP will officially drop on August 15th.

Out now on Area 25, Troyboi hits the breaks on ‘Wait a Minute’. Slowing down the track allows the rappers’ vocals to linger every so slightly. He transforms the initial sound into a more of a journey that absorbs us one layer at a time. The rhythm is totally addicting, it’d be hard not to sing-along when hearing this track on a stage. Not to mention, Troyboi’s signature psychedelic feel will definitely give your hips a mind of their own.

Party Favor has an ear for weaving together hip hop and electronic music. His debut EP reaching #2 on iTunes Dance features names like Gucci Mane, Rich the Kid and Dillon Francis. During his praised Coachella set, the artist brought out Jamie Foxx, Tyga and Rich The Kid to join him on stage. Arranging Troyboi into the mix for ‘Wait a Minute’ further highlights those efforts. We’ll try to keep our cool waiting however many minutes for the remainder of the Layers Remixes LP.
