LISTEN TO VALENTINO KHAN’S NEW ‘HOUSE PARTY’ EP

Valentino Khan has been teasing the release of his House Party EP for months now. Back in May he dropped ‘Pony’, followed by the release of his collab with Diplo, ‘JustYourSoul’. Even more recently, we got “Better” with Wuki. The remainder of the EP is finally out now on Mad Decent, and fans can’t stop raving about it.

Valentino Khan

It’s been five years since Khan’s granted us an EP. From the time that In Khan We Trust had been released on Skrillex’s OWSLA, we’ve been itching for a new collection. House Party certainly makes up for all of that lost time, and proves that quality is worth waiting for.

Although Valentino Khan has most rooted himself in the house genre of EDM, this EP demonstrates that his abilities aren’t limited whatsoever. He’s meticulously crafted each layer of every track to deliver a spunky beat on top of a consistent bassline. However, the careful positioning of vocal samples is what brands this EP as his own. Featuring phrases like, “Let me ride that motherfucking pony” in ‘Pony’ and “So fuck the other bitches, ’cause I’m the best bitch” from ‘Better’, he’s definitely lived up to his outlandish reputation.

House Party serves as Khan’s window to his own playful and eccentric soul. When he’s not pumping out tunes in the studio, he’s summoning high levels of energy from crowds. We’re excited to witness the EP get played out on main stages across the globe.

Forming alliances with Diplo, Wuki, and Chris Lorenzo on the EP, Khan is a careful collaborator. He enlisted the best artists to compliment his own sound, while creating six highly unique yet equally fascinating tracks. Listen to Valentino Khan’s House Party EP below.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
