WATCH KAYZO’S NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘CRUEL LOVE’

Heavy hitter Kayzo returns to Ultra Music with his powerful new single, ‘Cruel Love’. Be prepared, this one is just as emotional as it is violent. The track is accompanied by an electrifying music video that captures the essence of one of our deepest sensations, love.

In a riveting fusion of rock and electronic music elements, Kayzo explores heartbreak, the biggest consequence of love. He enlists the talents of shYbeast (also known as I See Star’s frontman Devin Oliver) and Sum 41 drummer Frank Zummo to animate his vision. Although the artist creates a sincere atmosphere with a captivating melody, the real tear-jerker is in the lyrics. Fans can surely relate to the theme of feeling hopeless and broken. ‘Cruel Love’ is a beautifully raw rendition of humanity’s greatest weaknesses.

‘Cruel Love’ follows not too far behind Kayzo’s arsenal of striking collaborations. He’s recently created tunes with Yultron as well as Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low, among others. A true master of sound design, Kayzo is able to take listeners from heavy metal, to dubstep, to hardstyle all in one sitting. His multifaceted touch has allowed him to work with names from multiple sound backgrounds, such as DJ Snake, Steve Aoki, and Slander.

Back in 2016, the Los Angeles-based producer founded his own artist-run imprint, Doghouse Recordings. It was later revitalized as Welcome Records the following year. Kayzo’s biweekly Doghouse Radio show airs as part of Insomniac Radio every other Friday.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
