FELIX CARTAL SHARES BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘OVER IT’ FT. VERONICA

Felix Cartal is yet again in the spotlight with his brand new single, ‘Over It’ featuring Veronica. Finding its home on Physical Presents, it follows the release of his most recent collaboration with Lights, ‘Love Me’. There’s no doubt that Felix has a knack for gripping our emotions—but this time it’s a little different.

Explaining some of the context behind the song, Felix adds, “Veronica and I wrote this song while I was in LA. We did the whole demo super quickly. Over the next few months, I really wanted to refine it into something emotional that still works in the club. This has been one of the biggest songs of my set and I can’t wait to see the reactions at my shows once people are familiar with it.”

‘Over It’ opens with an effortless seam of instrumentals. It picks up the pace at the drop, making it suitable for a club atmosphere, as Felix intended. Blending smooth melodies with an upbeat rhythm, this track has a way with our hearts. Not to mention, Veronica’s angelic vocals are truly what elevate ‘Over It’ to have that graceful feel.

With a passionate and soulful sound, it’s not surprising that Felix Cartal has come so far. His name has been included in Billboard’s “13 Dance Artists Who Dominated 2017” while his ‘Get What You Give’ was featured their “50 Best Dance/Electronic Songs of 2017: Critics’ Picks”. He’s done official remixes of Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Galantis, ZEDD, Dillon Francis, ALMA among others. With remixes in the works for for San Holo, Wafia, Illenium, fans have a lot to look forward to.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
