G JONES INDEFINITELY POSTPONES TOUR TO MOURN LOSS OF MOTHER

G Jones made the announcement last week that he would be cancelling his performance at Bass Coast Music and Arts Festival due to a family emergency. Although fans weren’t given any further details at the time, it wasn’t long before Greg delivered the tragic news.

On July 13th, Greg announced the passing of his beloved mother, Barbara Ellis Jones. In a heartfelt post to social media, he made fans aware of the love and gratitude he holds for her.

Just two days later, Greg’s management took it to social media to announce the postponing of the remainder of his tour dates. Shows planned for Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and New York City will be among those cancellations. In addition, his team promises to keep fans updated on the fate of further shows, including rescheduling.

G Jones posted to social media asking for his fans to please respect his family’s privacy. Although fans are often separated from the artists they admire, at the end of the day we’re all human. We’re confident that his fan base will be nothing but supportive of him during this period of grieving.
