CLAPTONE AND FRIENDS THROW ALLURING MASQUERADE PARTY

The mysterious producer Claptone joined up with some deep house friends this weekend to create another unparalleled Masquerade event. Returning to The Brooklyn Mirage for another year under the summer sky, the man in the golden mask was prepared to give an unforgettable performance. Supporting acts included Sidney Charles, Felix Da Housecat, and Shiba San for the evening.  Each of these artists uniquely contributed to the overall success and theme of the “Masquerade” event.

Felix Da Housecat took over the stage at Brooklyn Mirage like a true natural. He had the crowd grooving during the entirety of his set.  Felix Da Housecat is no stranger to the Masquerade parties.  He will be joining Claptone for “Masquerade Monday’s” in Ibiza this summer.

Another familiar face to the Masquerade parties is Shiba San.  The Parisian tech house producer is a perfect supporting act for Claptone. This was Shiba San’s debut at the legendary summer venue, Brooklyn Mirage. Shiba San played right before Claptone took the stage and his set fully prepared the crowd for the rest of the evening.

Throughout the whole evening the wall behind the stage was set with an array of smaller masquerade masks surrounding one large Claptone mask. Although the masks were present the entire evening, when Claptone took the stage the masks came to life and started coordinating with the other light production. Claptone played all of his crowd-pleasing tunes throughout his set.  Some notable moments included his recent remix of “Orange Trees” by MARINA.
