This bouncy tune features subtle vocals by LA artist Poor Sport. A low whisper transpires as tension builds on top of a steady, melodic beat. Regarded as a major orchestrator in the G-House sound, Wax Motif is a pioneer in electronic music. He certainly brings a unique style to the studio and to the stage, with “Wet” surpassing that standard.

The “House of Wax” Radio show host comments on his new creation. “WET wasn’t something I originally intended to release,” he says. “I made it purely as an edit for my sets but every time I would play it people kept asking me for it and fans would keep messaging me asking to ID it so finally here it is – ‘WET’!”

Above all, the fans spoke and Wax Motif answered. He often utilizes his radio show as a platform to premiere new tracks, which is where “WET” fell into the spotlight before it’s official release. As 2019 plays out, we can expect much more exciting news from the artist. He is working on a body of music across all genres of house music and translating them into larger scale “House of Wax” events. Wax Motif puts an admirable amount of energy into his projects, and it really shows.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
