THE BLOODY BEETROOTS JOINS FORCES WITH DR. FRESCH FOR “FKN FACE”

For the first time, The Bloody Beetroots has teamed up with Prescription Records founder Dr. Fresch in the studio. This electrifying bass house hit, “Fkn Face” will appear on The Bloody Beetroots forthcoming EP ‘Heavy’, out on June 21.

Marked as the second single from the anticipated EP, “Fkn Face” follows a collaboration with bass house producer Ephwurd, “Wildchild.” This unstoppable track features a pounding bassline unique to The Bloody Beatroots’ sound. Meanwhile, Dr. Fresch’s progressive beat turns it into a hypnotic dance floor groove. The track is topped off with fierce vocals to set the ominous mood.

The release of ‘Heavy’ will mark the ten-year anniversary of The Bloody Beetroot’s game-changing EP ‘Warp’. Originally released in 2009 in collaboration with Steve Aoki, Warp has since went down as perhaps the definitive record from the late-2000s electro era.

“Through Instagram, I saw that Tony Fresch was not only also living in Venice, CA, he was actually right down the street! So I messaged him and said ‘Come over! Let’s create together!’ And that very day we made ‘Fkn Face.’ It’s a great house track. The universe works in wonderful ways,” explains The Bloody Beetroots’ Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo when discussing the collaboration with both producers.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
