Wobbleland Makes A Huge Debut In Philadelphia

Wobbleland Philadelphia just wrapped up an amazing weekend for its first time ever on the east coast. The two-day event was held at the historic Franklin Music Hall, that was just enough to hold all the wubs and dubs the artists had to offer. Attendees were free to view up and downstairs with a full concession stand for any late-night munchies. With only one stage and an industrial feel of the venue, Wobbleland gave off some old school warehouse vibes that coincided with the tone and feel of each set.

Paying tribute to Philly, Wobbleland showed love by showcasing artists Gramgreene and Bandlez with some stellar performances. Other notable performances include GG Magree, ATLiens, and of course Zeds Dead. The most unique visuals go to Figure’s terrovision set. The visuals successfully splice every classic scary movie scene into one long, horrific reel.

She is even cuter in person, but don’t let her looks fool you. GG Magree is the embodiment of a badass setting fire to the stage with her fashion sense and her spicy beats. Playing many fire throwbacks, it was refreshing to see her slam a later time slot that is more than deserved.

Perhaps the most underrated performances, ATLiens touched down from space to deliver one of the dirtiest sets of the night. Without saying one word on the mic, the masked duo hides their identity to deliver an experience solely about the music. Incorporating their Atlanta swag into their sound, there was never a pause or break in their set that interrupted their flow until it was over.

The most anticipated performance of Wobbleland was delivered by none other than Zeds Dead. The combination of their colorful and retro visuals with the lasers made for one spectacular closing performance. Like ATLiens, Zeds Dead has this amazing skill to take listeners on an uninterrupted rollercoaster experience from start to finish. They never fail to take you on a journey of light to heavy and everything in between. With the most custom Zeds Dead merchandise I have ever seen a crowd have at a festival, it was a classic and fitting performance for their fans.

All in all, Wobbleland Philadelphia was a smoothly ran event thanks to the dedicated teams of Unlocked Presents and Vital Events. With amazing performances and an intimate venue choice, Philadelphia can only hope for its return next year.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
