“Shelter” opens with Fontana’s alluring vocals and touching lyrics. Each drop showcases a powerful melodic bass sound that Jason Ross has seemed to master. Just in time for summer, this feel good song hits just right for a car ride or a festival crowd. There’s no doubt we’ll hear it played out as we enter this festival season.

Ross offers some of his own thoughts on the track, “Shelter is a song I’ve been looking forward to putting out ever since I first played it on the Seven Lions bus tour. It continues on with the more melodic bass style that I’ve been venturing into lately, and something I’m immensely proud of. It was so great working with the ever-talented Melanie Fontana, too.”

In the midst of his biggest year yet, Jason Ross has made unforgettable appearances nationwide. He’s played four shows on the Anjunabeats North American tour, which included stops at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and will soon land at the Brooklyn Mirage in New York. The artist recently just completed his ‘Rooms’ tour, which sold out seven shows. Check out his upcoming tour dates here.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
