RÜFÜS DU SOL Left Hard Rock Orlando In A Trance

RÜFÜS DU SOL’s show at the Hard Rock in Orlando, Florida, Wednesday night left everyone in a daze. Their live set was filled with passion and intensity that exuded an energy that the audience could not get enough of.

The electronic band is made up of a drummer, John Robinson, guitarist, Tony Maiden, and a lead singer, Chaka Khan. RÜFÜS DU SOL has been on their “Solace” tour in North America since April. The trio’s sets give off a memorable experience by providing their audience with a small taste of alternative indie house.

At their show, they primarily played songs from their album, “Solace,” released in October 2018. The album has received millions of plays on all music streaming platforms. Listen to the full album here.

And the crowd became ecstatic when Rufus Du Sol played the infamous “Innerbloom” from their earlier album, “Bloom.”

This soft, almost calming form of electronic music had attendees feeding off the band’s sound and vibe, creating an unreal experience at the Hard Rock.  The lights and visuals transitioned perfectly to the beats and moods of each song. Together, it truly motivated the crowd to stay swaying and shuffling to their music all night.

Khan’s interactions with the crowd had a sincerity to it, making people feel connected to him and his music.

Towards the end of the concert, he stopped singing to tell attendees how he met his fiancé in Orlando. He was genuinely grateful to be there and thanked the crowd.
