What To Look Forward To At Electric Forest 2019
Electric Forest is returning to Rothbury, Michigan for yet another year of magic and music intertwined in a one-of-a-kind composition. The festival curators have decided to return the event to one weekend of camping, immersive experiences and performances, so the Forest will be brimming with attendees ready for their most anticipated once a year celebration. Every weekend at Forest is one that could not be matched, but this year is sure to be one for the books. The festival has promised a plethora of exciting escapades for their party-goers, and the building excitement is enough to prepare everyone for their favorite weekend of the summer.
In addition to a phenomenal lineup that could not go without mentioning, Electric Forest has also promised stages to be hosted by several different influential music companies, all who have put together a combination of artists routed specifically for their time period, style or musicality. This year Nghtmre and Slander will be presenting ‘Gud Vibrations’, Bassrush will be hosting at the Tripolee stage and Studio 54est will be recognized in its original NYC 1970’s form by taking us back to when disco reigned the music waves.
Another highly anticipated part of venturing through the Forest is the display of a weighty collection of fantastic art installations, made by über talented creatives. The festival also curates an ‘Art Installation Sponsorship’ where artists can submit their most profound ideas for pieces to be created during the event. The best are chosen, and the winners for 2019 are looking phenomenal. Check out the 2019 winners here!
One of the most arguably ingenious parts of Electric Forest are the leaps and bounds that the company takes to protect our mother Earth. The festival calls this initiative ‘Electricology’ and it seeks to actively reward sustainable Forest Family by offering prizes and unique festival experiences to those who practice making an impact on protecting the grounds.
Although many attend Electric Forest for the music and top of the charts lineups, the outstanding immersive events and interactive niche pieces that together create this incredible event are what many spend 365 days a year looking forward to, and so should you!
