EXCISION PRESENTS 2019 LOST LANDS LINEUP
It’s no secret that Lost Lands is a festival that cherishes and cradles dubstep close to it’s heart. This alone is what brings headbangers from around the world together for an unforgettable weekend in September each year. Life size dinosaurs, earth shattering bass, and a community of dedicated fans. This is what the hype is all about, and the lineup makes it that much better.
From September 27-29, Excision’s annual festival, Lost Lands will return to Thornville, Ohio for a third year. For the past two years, fans could pretty much guess who will be on the lineup – Excision, of course, and many other heavy-hitters of his liking. However, the 2019 lineup completely blew us out of the water. As expected, we see many returning names from 2018 such as 12th Planet, Boogie T, Downlink, Funtcase, Herobust, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Rusko, Subtronics, Slander, Svdden Death, and Wooli, among others.
Some acts that we haven’t seen since Lost Land’s inaugural year will also be returning. Ghastly, Kompany, Liquid Stranger, Space Jesus, and Zeds Dead will be back in Legend Valley for the first time since 2017. Speaking of firsts, the festival recently announced that Liquid Stranger would be hosting a Wakaan takeover at the after hours Sound Camps. Wakaan fans were ecstatic to learn of this news, and there’s no doubt the lineup announcement made this festival even more enticing. With names like Champagne Drip, LSDream, Luzcid, SFAM, Shlump, Toadface, Tynan, and Zeke Beats, freeform bass music will officially make a home at Lost Lands.
Excision will be performing a two hour set, a detox set, and a special back to back set with Illenium. He has also promised multiple other back to backs that have yet to be featured on the lineup poster. Blunts & Blondes b2b He$h and Slander b2b Spag Heddy are among the first to be revealed. As the festival creeps up, we’re anticipating that many names on the lineup will be announced as back to backs performances.
To top off the madness, Mastodon will be making his U.S. debut this year at both Bass Canyon and Lost Lands. His appearance is one of the most highly anticipated on the lineup, promising to be one of the heaviest sets of the weekend.
