SEVEN LIONS + KILL THE NOISE UNLEASH “THE BLOOD”

Seven Lions and Kill The Noise join forces yet again to create a dubstep, psytrance masterpiece, “The Blood”. The track borrows inspiration for the visual aesthetic from the pair’s favorite video game – Bloodborne. Out now on Ophelia Records, “The Blood” brings high levels of energy while flawlessly fusing two unique styles of electronic music.

“The Blood” delivers the same tenacity as the last collaboration between Seven Lions and Kill the Noise, “Cold Hearted” which was released in 2017 on Mostercat. This new track pushes the boundaries of genre norms. It initially reels listeners in with an upbeat psytrance build and first drop. “The Blood” introduces a second drop with an aggressive wave of dubstep at just the right moment. Meanwhile, menacing, robotic-like vocals amplify the eerie twist to the song.

These two musical talents merge just about every stylistic technique to create a perfect melody carrying on for five minutes in “The Blood”. This track is everything you might expect and more from a collaboration between Seven Lions and Kill the Noise.

Both artists are featured on a number of festival lineups this year. Expect to see Seven Lions at ILLFest, Electric Forest, and Electric Zoo among others. Kill the Noise will make an appearance at Serenity Gathering, Ever After Music Festival, and more. You might get lucky enough to catch this new tune live this summer.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
