Alison Wonderland’s ‘Peace’ Provides More Meaning Than Just Another EDM Hit
Alison Wonderland has just dropped her new single, Peace, in an effort to not only put another hit EDM track out into the world, but to shed light on her personal life. In a tweet Wonderland put out this morning, she says, “Peace is out now. I wrote it to help me find my own closure in something. I don’t feel at peace right now. In fact, I still feel kinda broken.”
The song itself harps on the constant phrase, “Someday I’ll find peace,” a common theme used in hit EDM songs within the past couple of years. Wonderland has struck gold with recent albums, like AWAKE, which has trailed along with more than 150 million streams. The artist has proven her success by even being invited to play at major upcoming festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Firefly and Electric Forest, all major milestones in any producer’s career.
The newly-released song has already faced major support from fans. In a tweet made by Wonderland, she says, “Seriously overwhelmed by the reaction to peace. It’s the most positive reaction I’ve gotten.”
