GRiZ “A New Day” ft. Matisyahu Music Video Out Now

GRiZ releases an empowering music video for his newest single, “A New Day” featuring Matisyahu. The video is an emotional look into how real people are affected by gun violence no matter age, sex or color. It also serves as a call to support the Brady, a campaign that encourages the community to #TakeActionNotSides and unite against gun violence. By visiting bradyunited.org/act people can add their voice to encourage senators to support legislation needed to expand background checks on gun sales.

Bright, beautiful but mostly powerful- this track was influenced by last year’s tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school in Parkland, FL and now serves as an anthem to honoring the lives lost to gun violence. During the creation process, GRiZ praises Matisyahu for his influential voice and “unique way of speaking.” In regards to the “A New Day” video director Robert Nyerges remarks, “Collaborating with real people was such a humbling experience as each of the individuals we worked with all endured unspeakable hardships yet remained resilient, positive and beyond generous in helping us to complete this project. We hope that this film will be one small step forward on the path to progressive change.”
