G Jones Brings “The Ineffable Truth” to Philadelphia

It’s been less than six months since Greg Jones released his eleven track debut album “The Ineffable Truth”. The album quickly became recognized as one of the most iconic bass albums in the current electronic music world. It was no mystery that G Jones has become one of the most skilled bass producers in the industry but this release locked that into place. Shortly after the album release, “The Ineffable Truth” Tour was announced.  This nineteen stop hits intimate venues across the United States to bring the G Jones Live A/V set. Tsuruda and Chee are the supporting acts for this tour for all of the stops except two.

This past Friday was the eighth stop of the tour at the Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia. This venue was arguably perfect to curate the vibe for the G Jones show. The intimate setting provided a unique experience for bass music fans. Supporting acts Chee and Tsuruda’s sound both complemented the mastery of the G Jones sound.  These acts left the crowd highly anticipating Greg’s live set. His immersive bass set took the crowd on a sonic experience throughout the evening. Since the release of the album bass lovers everywhere have been patiently awaiting the chance to catch the live set and he surely did not disappoint. Tracks from the album like “ARBITER’S THEME” and “UNDERSTANDING THE POSSIBILITY” were among some of the favorites of the evening.
