Malaa Releases Illegal Mixtape Vol. 2 (Deluxe) feat. Koos, Lucati and Keeld

So nice Malaa had to do it twice. Last week the masked-producer put out the Deluxe edition of his “Illegal Mixtape Vol. 2” complete with three spicy remixes from Koos, Lucati, and Keeld. The original compilation consisted of eleven hand-picked singles featuring a combination of his own work and submissions by friends like Godamn & Crossnaders, Bellecour, Malive, Dillion Nathaniel, Adult Art Club, and Matroda.

“Illegal Mixtape Vol.2 (Deluxe)” expands on Malaa’s offerings to the original track list with remixes of his second tracks “Cash Money” and “We Get Crunk.” Koos remix of “Cash Money” pays respect to the disco-infused original and builds upon it with a healthy dose of bass. Keeping the same energy, Koos uses a that bass to create the perfect beat for shufflers to get down and dirty. Lucati also pays homage to “Cash Money” with his own slightly tropical twist, and to finish out the mixtape is the fresh take on “We Get Crunk” by rising French producer, Keeld.

Koos has made moves in 2018 releasing several EPs on his record label Noir Sur Blanc and partnering with CONFESSION Records for his Eruption EP. No stranger on Malaa’s radar, Lucati was one of two artists selected to remix a track from Tchami & Malaa’s collaborative EP “No Redemption” with his version of “Kurupt.” Finally, Keeld is an up-and-coming artist that was taken notice when CONFESSION records released his single “Stupid” and landed his remix of “Prophecy” on the “No Redemption Tour [Exclusive Remixes]” album.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
