Elohim Releases Banger “Buckets” On OWSLA
Los Angeles based artist/producer Elohim has released a new single co-produced with Skrillex titled, “Buckets”. This track illuminates a darker side of Elohim’s sound for a change. “Buckets” is now out via OWSLA, her second release in a pair of singles on the label.
“Buckets” features beautiful vocals by Elohim coupled with a piercing beat as the backdrop. The track has a fiery and intense spin to it, something listeners won’t see coming. It’s exciting to see artists like Elohim breaking stylistic norms and defying expectations.
Elohim speaks on the concept behind the track, “2019 will be a year of unmasking, unveiling, and facing fears head on. Buckets is the beginning. It is also the final installment of my collaborations with Skrillex. This piece is an emotional purge, a side of me I’ve never shared before. I am now ready… Are you?”
Elohim’s single “Connect”, released on OWSLA back in November is also a co-production with Skrillex. In addition to releasing new music, she is also slated to make a few big festival performances in 2019. So far, she’s scheduled to make appearances at Deja Voom, Hangout Fest, and Governor’s Ball.
After the release of her self-titled debut album in April of 2018, Elohim has exploded with success. She’s been a part of multiple headline tours as well as direct support tours with Alison Wonderland and The Glitch Mob. She has also captivated crowds at major festivals in 2018 such as Electric Forest, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Lollapalooza.
