Seven Lions, Wooli, & Trivecta Deliver Epic New Single “Island”

Seven Lions, Wooli, and Trivecta have merged talents to generate “Island” featuring vocals by Nevve. This new track creates a perfect platform for these artists to jump into 2019. “Island” is a beautiful yet hard hitting melodic dubstep presentation that takes listeners on an epic journey. The track is now out on Seven Lions’ imprint Ophelia Records.

Seven Lions recently completed his massive North American “The Journey 2 Tour”. 2018 also saw the release of his magical Start Again EP, featuring singles “After Dark” and “Dreamin”. “Island” shows off Seven Lions’ mastery of euphoric melodies and profound lyrics.

Wooli has really made a name for himself in the bass music community in 2018. His first release on the Ophelia label, a remix of Seven Lions and Blastoyz’s “After Dark” with Samplifire recently made a huge splash. Wooli is known for his deep dark dubstep synths which blend flawlessly throughout “Island”.

If seeing Wooli and Trivecta’s names together on a track looks familiar, that’s because they teamed up in 2018 to release “Falling” on Monstercat. Coupled with releasing the hit track, Trivecta hopped on tour with both Illenium and Kill the Noise. He also made his debut performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past year.

Together, with vocals lent by Nevve, these powerhouse artists found a way to meld euphoric melodies with bass heavy synths. The soft vocals reel in listeners leading up to a fierce drop. The momentum in “Island” is hard to match, and these artists have allowed their visions to flow into their sound.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
