Deadmau5 Produces Original Score for Netflix Film ‘Polar’
Polar is a new film based upon the Dark Horse action noir graphic novel ‘Polar: Came From the Cold’ directed by musician and director Jonas Åkerlund and written by Jayson Rothwell. The film is an action and mystery piece regarding the world’s best assassin, ‘The Black Kaiser’ leaving retirement to get back into the killing game against his will where he must face younger, trained and ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to silence the old timer.
Deadmau5 has been brought onto the project to create an original score for the entire film and will be releasing the full film soundtrack through his label Mau5trap this January 25th. On the same date the film will premiere, exclusively on Netflix.
With the skill and precision that Deadmau5 puts into all of his music, this soundtrack will no doubt take this film to another level of suspense.
