Each year there are dozens of music events held all over in celebration of the beginning of a new year. This is an exciting time for everyone and there are plenty of options in ways to celebrate. This past weekend the US had countless events for music lovers to choose from. Among the most popular are:

SnowGlobe in Lake Tahoe, CA
Decadence in Colorado and Arizona
HiJinx in Philadelphia, PA
Bassnectar 360 in Greensboro, NC
Insomniac’s Countdown in San Berdnardino, CA

These festivals provide fans one last festival for the current year’s season. A way to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and the promise of a new year ahead. All of the New Years festival offer a different experience for the festival goers. Countdown hosted by Insomniac had an all new alien theme this year. Philadelphia had its first installation of HiJinx Music Festival. Decadence held two New Year’s Eve celebrations in Arizona and Colorado.

What makes New Year’s Eve festivals even more exciting is the extra effort and detail the artists put into their sets. Most of the artists play multiple shows throughout the weekend in different locations. Each artist that is lucky enough to play a set while ringing in the New Year always makes sure its special for the fans. Take a look below at some of our favorite 2019 “ball drops”.
