Iconic Brooklyn Nightclub OUTPUT Shuts Doors Forever in 2019

One of New York City’s most beloved nightclubs, OUTPUT, announces its final night on the scene will be on New Year’s Day. The owners released a statement yesterday regarding the close and with a brief thank you letter to its fans, staff and the wide array of talent that has been booked over the years. OUTPUT has been a staple to the Brooklyn music scene since 2013, and many people will be sad to see it go. OUTPUT follows an unfortunate trend of top NYC nightclubs closing, first with Pacha NYC in 2016 then Webster Hall in 2017.

OUTPUT has often been referred to as one of the best nightclubs in New York City, for many good reasons. The venue created an atmosphere of intimacy with it’s no photo/video policy. The nightclub not only had two indoor stages/rooms but also a rooftop music area. Hundreds of house and techno producers have been booked at OUTPUT over the past five years. This announcement comes as huge loss to the NYC electronic music scene.

Be sure to catch some of the final performances at this legendary venue before its too late.  Hot Since 82 takes over this Friday December 14. John Digweed is set to give the final performance on New Year’s Eve.
