Graves Releases Single “I’m Fine” As “Far From Here” EP Teaser

Graves released a brand new track titled, “I’m Fine” featuring EZI as a teaser for his forthcoming sophomore EP, “Far From Here”. As the lead single on the album, “I’m Fine” delves into the emotional hardships that are often coupled with bottling up feelings.

The young artist is completely vulnerable with his listeners. Graves reminds us that everyone harbors pain and trauma, often masked with the phrase “I’m fine”. EZI’s vocals are followed by melodic yet piercing drops to top off the song.

Christian Mochizuki, better known as graves, is a DJ/producer native to Hawaii. He is often cited for his emotionally sophisticated and progressive style. One of his greatest accomplishments is credited to his 2016 single, “Came Up”, a collaboration with Post Malone, Key!, and Flosstradamus. The track has over 50 million streams worldwide, which set the table for his 2017 debut EP Hilo. The EP reached #1 on iTunes electronic shortly after its release. Graves’ ability to weave in and out of genres is unparalleled.

Since 2016, graves has been touring relentlessly. His festival appearances have included Life Is Beautiful, HARD Summer, and Electric Zoo’s 10 year anniversary. On top of that, RL Grime’s NOVA tour across the US featured graves as support. This coming year promises to be a huge one for graves with his “Far From Here” project fully underway.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
