Boys Noize Set To Play First Show As ELAX

If you haven’t already heard, ELAX is the name of Boys Noize’s newest side project. The German DJ/producer is breaking the boundaries of his usual warehouse techno sound to take on a fresh approach to music.

Among his recent accomplishments, the artist also released a widely successful EP, “#3” from his “Handbraekes” collaboration with Mr. Oizo. The sound of the album has an undeniably electric feel. It resembles an explosion of infectious disco combined with a kaleidoscopic bounce. The duo’s vibrant sound has been a huge hit since this most recent release.

The next step of the project is his first ever show as ELAX, set to take place on 12.7 in Los Angeles at Sound Nightclub. The artist even has new tracks as the moniker like “Killer” to debut.

Boys Noize is famously known for his side project, Dog Blood, which includes himself and Skrillex. He is a versatile artist who doesn’t allow genres to become boundaries. So far, positive reception of ELAX proves the project to be successful even at such an early point in time.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
