Snails Brings Mayhem To Tallahassee On His “The Shell 2.0” Tour
Frederik Durand, better by his stage name, Snails, is in the midst of embarking on a massive fall tour across North America. He recently brought his signature “vomitstep” sound to Bajas Beachclub in Tallahassee as part of his “The Shell 2.0” tour. Snails’ support for this show included killer performances by Heckler, Svdden Death, and Cookie Monsta. The most unique feature of “The Shell 2.0” tour is the holographic visual projections that accompany the music. Attendees were able to enjoy Snails’ visuals directly in front of him in 3D. By bringing his signature new stage to every stop on the tour, he truly immerses his crowd into a full-blown holographic bass music experience.
Snails most notably played one of his newer tracks with Zeds Dead, “Magnets” featuring Akylla. The entire venue shook as he pounded the crowd with incomprehensible amounts of bass. He dipped into both newer and older tracks to guide us through a slimy journey of sound. The tracks he played were refreshingly familiar while remaining versatile. We admire Snails as an artist for staying true to his distinctive style and putting every ounce of passion he has into his performances.
With a successful tour and the launch of his record label, Slugz Music, Snails never fails to inspire fans. We highly suggest hitting one of his remaining tour stops if you get the chance.
