Ephwurd releases newest track “Function” Feat. Oneeva

Ephwurd, the charismatic L.A. based duo consisting of Datsik and Bais house, are a pair to keep your eye on. During summer ’17 alone, Ephwurd performed at many big-name events such as EDC Las Vegas (main stage), Lollapalooza, Global Dance Festival, and Shambhala.

Fresh off the launch of their own record label, Eph’d Up Records, and release of their single “Money” featuring Fatman Scoop, Ephwurd, again, just dropped their newest track showing off a genre bending melodic sound very different from their usual. This single, releasing via Eph’d Up Records, titled “Function” features Oneeva, an alternative rock/folk duo consisting of Antonio Fioravanti and Japanese singer Natalie Kyoko Waters.

Oneeva opens the song beautifully with a daydream type sound and lyric reminiscent of a trance build. Of course, by nature, Ephwurd brings it back to their distinguished bass house sound for the first drop and song progression; it may catch you off guard, but with each moment it gets grimier, just wait on it.

The track is out now Eph’d Up Records and can be heard on SoundCloud here:

The song is up for free download so listen now!
