Buku Music & Art Project drops major 2018 lineup

One of New Orleans’ flagship festivals, Buku Music & Art Project released phase 2 of their lineup yesterday and we couldn’t be more excited! For the past seven years Buku has curated a unique festival vibe that compliments the New Orleans culture.  From incredible headlining performances to live art installations Buku is a festival you will not want to miss! Returning this year to headline the festival is the legendary producer Bassnectar.  His last performance was in 2015 where he was headlining the main stage.  Another notable producer that will be performing this year is Porter Robinson’s new project Virtual Self! He hasn’t announced many shows under Virtual Self so this will be an exciting headliner for the festival.

Buku is known for a complimenting balance between hip-hop and R&B with electronic music.  Festivals are known for bringing people together but this festival unites the divide between different music genres and its one of the reasons why its my favorite. Some of the artists that Exron Music is excited to see this year is MGMT, Migos, SZA, Alison Wonderland, REZZ, Jai Wolf, Snakehips, Gryffin, Graves, Elohim, Medasin, and Ganja White Night. Check out a pre-Buku playlist I complied to get everyone excited for the festival!
