Madeon sells out Schimanski in Brooklyn

After finishing the iconic Shelter tour with Porter Robinson last Spring we have all been wondering what comes next for the 23 year old producer from France.  On November 4, 2017, Hugo aka Madeon sold out the intimate venue of Schimanski in Brooklyn, New York.  He played tons of Madeon originals: ‘Technicolor’, ‘The City’, and of course ‘Shelter’.  He proved that he was nothing short of perfection with new additions and remixes to his own work.  There wasn’t a second that we stopped dancing while he played.  My favorite part of the night was when he dropped two of my favorite songs ‘Home’ and ‘Icarus”.

Madeon spent most of 2016 and 2017 working and touring in collboration with world renowed producer Porter Robinson who happens to also be one of his good friends. Together the duo remixed all of their original work, Madeon’s songs from ‘Adventures’ and Porter’s songs from ‘Worlds’. They combined songs like Fellow Feeling with Icarus and La Lune with Sea of Voices.  When asked if the duo will someday tour together again, most of the feedback they’ve given is that they wanted to do only one song and only one big tour.  With how amazing the Shelter tour ended up being their fans can only hope for something in the future.  Madeon continues to play shows and remind his fans that he can be amazing not only in collaboration projects but by himself as well.
